About The Roof Gurus, Locally Owned Roofers in Amarillo & Wichita Falls
The Roof Gurus is a locally owned roofing company serving homeowners and businesses across the Texas Panhandle and North Texas. From a downtown Amarillo office on SW 10th Ave. to our Wichita Falls location on US 281, our crews handle roof replacement, roof repair, storm and hail damage, and insurance claim help , with honest inspections and no storm-chaser tactics.
Why a Locally Owned Roofer Matters in Storm Country
The Texas Panhandle sits high on the High Plains, where spring hail and steady winds punish roofs year after year. After a storm rolls through, out-of-town crews often follow , knocking on doors, pushing quick sales, and disappearing before the first problem shows up. Neighbors told us they wanted something different: a roofer who answers the phone, explains the damage in plain words, and is still around next season.
That's the gap The Roof Gurus set out to fill. We're a locally owned and operated roofing company built on integrity, quality, and relationships , not a one-time sale. When you call, you reach a local team that lives and works in the same community you do, from the older homes in Wolflin and Bivins to the newer subdivisions around Soncy Road.
We believe a roof is too important and too expensive to leave to someone who won't be here in a year. So we show up, we document what we find with photos, and we tell you the truth , even when that truth is that your roof is fine. Have a question before you book? contact our team and we'll walk you through it.
What We Stand For
Three words guide every job we take on , and they show up in how we actually work, not just on a sign.
Integrity
We show up when we say we will and tell you the truth about your roof , even when that truth is that it doesn't need replacing yet. No padded scopes, no scare tactics, no work you don't need.
Quality
Every roof gets installed the way it should be, with attention to the flashing, underlayment, and ventilation details that keep water out for the long haul. We clean up like it's our own house, because it might be next door.
Relationships
We'd rather earn a customer for life than close one quick sale. When a shingle blows loose two seasons from now, we want you to know exactly who to call , and to trust that we'll pick up.
From the Panhandle to North Texas
Amarillo is home. Our headquarters sits right downtown on SW 10th Ave., and we serve homeowners and businesses across Potter and Randall counties , including Canyon, just south on the Canyon Expressway. The Panhandle's hail, wind, and high-elevation sun are the roofs we know best, and the ones we built this company to protect.
North Texas has its own weather and its own roofing needs. Spring severe storms bring hail, straight-line winds, and tornado risk around Wichita Falls, while long summers that often top 100°F bake flat and low-slope roofs on retail centers, warehouses, and churches. The expansive clay soils common across the region shrink and swell with moisture, so moving roof water away from the foundation matters.
That's why we opened a second office on US 281 in Wichita Falls , to serve military families at Sheppard Air Force Base, homeowners in Floral Heights and Morningside, and the businesses along Kell Freeway with the same locally owned crew. If you're closer to North Texas, reach out to a roofing contractor in Wichita Falls who knows the area.
